Program – Sunday June 30:
11:00-13:00 Instrument techniques, rhythm and musicality (Basics/Suitable for beginners)
13:00-13:45 Lunch Break
13:45-14:45 Carnival blocos arrangements. Bateria. (Medium level)

15:00-15:45 Bateria: Enredos and breaks (playing together, advanced level)

16:00-17:00 Bateria: Funk and other rhythms (playing together, advanced level)
Location: Møllergata 9.
After the workshop we plan on going to the brazilian restaurant Buteco Ipanema to socialize, eat and drink something.
About Fabio Allman:
Fabio or Fabão, as he is known to his fans, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and percussionist.
Fabio was the vocalist in the carnival ensemble MONOBLOCO for 15 years, and has 25 years experience with carnival samba!
He has also been doing many other great remarkable projects.
Amongst many others he has worked with Monobloco, Bangalafumenga, Cássia Eller, LS Jack, Nando Reis and most recently have joined forces with the italian percussion group, Banda Berimbau.
His role as a singer with Monobloco saw him at the forefront of the «revitalization»of the street carnival scene of Rio de Janeiro with crowds of in excess of half a million turning up at 9 a.m. (!!!)
As a performer and educator he has been around the world spreading the music of the modern Brazilian carnival.
PRICE: For the 5 hour workshop, price is 500 NOK. NB: Pay before Sunday 23.June!
